Just in case I did not share this with you all, she is your xgreat
aunt. There are three articles, so scroll down. Your ancestor,
Prof. John Winspeare McCarty, is mentioned also.
The British Archives is putting issues of the CORK EXAMINER on
line, and I had great hopes of finding his obituary (died 29 Dec 1877); but
they lack issues between 1850 and 1920 or so. If none of you can get over
to Cork, perhaps someone could be hired to search for and copy an obituary
found in that time period. THE CORK CONSTITUTION is where I found the
above articles.
